[Journalism] The Media Institute of the Caribbean and the US Embassy Bridgetown organise a Zoom virtual conference entitled “The Challenges to Press Freedom in the Caribbean”

In partnership with the US Embassy Bridgetown (Barbados), the Media Institute of the Caribbean (MIC) proposes a virtual panel discussion on the Challenges to Press Freedom in the Caribbean on Wednesday 24th February from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. All media managers, editors, producers, head of newsrooms and journalists are welcome to attend.

As you can see, there are two panels:

  • Challenges and state of Press Freedom in the Caribbean
  • Legislative challenges to Presse Freedom

The panellists are :

– Mr. George Davis, President, Press Association of Jamaica
