The Forty-Fifth Regular Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government takes place in Trinidad and Tobago, from Monday 3rd to Wednesday 5th July 2023, under the Chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Dominica, Honorable, Roosevelt Skerrit. At this occasion, the Heads of Governement and their guests celebrate the 50th Caricom Day. The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was established by the Treaty of Chaguaramas, which was signed by Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago on July 4, 1973, and came into effect on August 1, 1973.
